Prof Dr. Sunil D Popat is currently the consultant of G.I, Laporascopic @& Obesity Surgeon. He was qualified in MS,FRCS (Edin), FIAGES, FICS, FALS, FAIS, FMAS and FAGIE. Moreover, he also the Treasurer and Program Co-chair in WCES2024, and the Past president of IAGES in 2021-2022. He was also the Medical & Managing Director in Nidhi Hospital, Ahmedabad. Besides, He also has a rich experience of 30 years in the field og Gastroenterology, Theraputic Endoscopy in Gastro Intestinal. He also achieved as the Largest numbers of total Protocolectomy @ Iliac pouch Anal Anastomosis for Ulcerative Colotis and 1st to do Lap Hiatus Hernia repair and Anti reflux surgery in Gujarat. He also the Organising Chairman in HERNIACON Congress 2013, FIAGES 2016, FALS Hernia 2018 and ASA Herniacon.
