Dr.Sze LiSiow
Dr Siow Sze Li is currently the Head of Department for Department of General Surgery, Sarawak General Hospital. He has a very keen interest in Laparoscopic Surgery and championed the use of laparoscopy in various surgical disciplines and gastrointestinal malignancies. He pioneered numerous laparoscopic surgeries in Sarawak and was instrumental in setting up the laparoscopic service in Sarawak. He is the Senior Vice President of the College of Surgeons, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia and member of the National Conjoint Committee for General Surgery. He is also the Vice president of Society of Endoscopic Laparoscopic Surgery of Malaysia (SELSMA), committee member of Malaysian Upper GI Surgical (MUGIS) society and committee member of Malaysian Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Society (MyMBS). He is the adjunct lecturer for Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) Surgical Faculty & instructor for Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP), Royal College of Surgeons of England.
