Dr.MuruganPeriasamy

Dr. Murugan is skilled in the entire spectrum of general surgical conditions, and performs conventional and minimally invasive surgery relating to the gastrointestinal tract (including the esophagus, stomach, small & large intestine, rectum and anus), thyroid, breasts, abdominal hernias and skin lesions. He is also skilled in performing therapeutic endoscopy such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreoticogram and bronchoscope. Dr Murugan has been the invited faculty in many local and international conferences. He is affiliated to various professional bodies, including the Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia (ELSA), the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) and the Asia Pacific Hernia Society. He actively contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, serving as honorary lecturer for the National University of Malaysia, Penang Medical College, Penang Dental College, Perak Royal Medical College and is an examiner for the MRCS exams.
