Prof. Dr.RohaizakMuhammad

Prof Dr Rohaizak Muhammad graduated from Glasgow University, Scotland in 1991.. He obtained the Masters of Surgery UKM in 1997 and FRCS (Glasgow) in 2000. He also completed 3 years training in Breast and Endocrine surgery including a year training as Specialist Registrar in Breast and Endocrine Surgery in Bristol, United Kingdom. After his surgical training in the United Kingdom, Prof Dr Rohaizak served as Consultant Endocrine and Breast Surgeon in UKM Medical centre and continues to train more surgeons especially in the field of Endocrine and Breast surgery. Dr Rohaizak is also active in research and publication especially in the area of Breast and Endocrine Surgery. He has presented and published many articles locally and internationally in the area of breast and endocrine. He is also an Education Committee member of NSR Specialty subcommittee: General Surgery (Breast and Endocrine Surgery) and was previously Honorary Secretary of the Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeon and Council member for the College of Surgeon of Malaysia. He is currently Deputy Chairman Endocrine Surgery Chapter College of Surgeon of Malaysia, Executive Council member of Asia Pacific Society of Thyroid Surgery and an International Advisory Board for the Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeon.
