Dr.Sau ShungFong

Dr Fong is a consultant general and colorectal surgeon in Raffles Hospital, Singapore. He exited as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and entered into the register of specialists in Singapore, in 2011 and completed a fellowship in the treatment of advanced and recurrent colorectal cancer under Professor Peter Sagar in Leeds United Kingdom. He was elected as the honorary secretary of the Society of Colorectal Surgeons (Singapore)(SCRS) in 2015 (2 years). During his tenure in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, he was the head of colorectal service and the director of the endoscopy centre (2017-2019). His MIS expertise includes conventional laparoscopic, robotic and advanced transanal endoscopic surgery. He has served as a proctor for taTME in Singapore and robotic cancer surgery in the ASEAN region. His main interest is in robotic colorectal cancer and hernia surgery.
