Yeap Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur

Dr. Yeap Chee Loong obtained his medical degree (MBBS) and Master of Surgery (M.Surg) degree from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. With a profound interest, he underwent further training at the world-renowned Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, United Kingdom as a senior clinical fellow in the advanced upper gastrointestinal surgery. He then returned to become a consultant surgeon as well as an academic staff as a senior lecturer in his alma mater. He is a member of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (AM), and was conferred the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd), as well as the Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). In his clinical practice, Dr. Yeap treats general surgical diseases with special interest in Minimally Invasive Techniques, Hernia Surgery as well as Upper Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgery and Metabolic Surgery. He is currently practicing in Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur and Tung Shin Hospital.
