Sywak University of Sydney

A/Prof Sywak is an Endocrine Surgeon based at the University of Sydney. He is a graduate of the University of Sydney Medical School and underwent General Surgical Training at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. Dr Sywak completed Fellowship training in Endocrine Surgery and Surgical Oncology at the University of Calgary and Tom Baker Cancer Center, Canada. He undertakes over 500 endocrine surgical procedures annually and has an interest in minimally invasive parathyroidectomy and adrenalectomy. He currently serves as the President of the Australian and New Zealand Endocrine Surgical Association as is an Examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
