I have completed my basic medical degree in Melaka Manipal Medical College with distinction and subsequently completed my housemanship in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kota Kinabalu before doing my district posting on Beluran Hospital. I returned to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for my physician training in 2009 and obtained my MRCP(UK) in the year 2011. I then served as Physician in Hospital Tawau for almost 2 years before joining Gastroenterology subspeciality training in July 2014. I completed 2.5 my gastroenterology training in Queen Elizabeth Hospital training in interventional upper and lower endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology cases, and basic endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP. I was then accepted as a fellow in Advanced endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) for a year in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth. After a year of fellowship in EUS, I spent another year doing Advanced Interventional Endoscopy ( ERCP, Large polypectomy, EMR, Achalasia, Endoscopic
management of UGI surgical complications including bariatric surgery complication). After my fellowship, i joined as a consultant gastroenterologist in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kota Kinabalu before joining Gleneagles kota kinabalu in 2022. My main area of interest include general Gastroenterology, Pancreatobiliary diseases, therapeutic endoscopy, large polyp EMR, EUS, ERCP, Achalasia, endoscopic management of UGI surgical complications, Barretts oesophagus, IBD and hepatology cases.
