Dr. Ooi Wei Keat is a Consultant General & Upper GI Surgeon at Queen Elizabeth I Hospital, distinguished for his expertise in surgical practice and healthcare management. With a profound interest in Esophageal and Gastric Cancer Surgery and Reflux diseases, Dr. Ooi has dedicated his career to advancing the treatment and management of these conditions. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the International Medical University and completed his Doctorate in General Surgery (DS) at the National University of Malaysia. Dr. Ooi further augmented his skills through a Fellowship in Upper GI Surgery at Erasmus University Medical Centre Rotterdam, Netherlands, and specialized training in Basic & Advanced Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgery Skills.
