Dr. Mark graduated from Manipal Academy of Higher Learning in the year 2004. He then pursued his carrier in general surgery and obtained his Masters in Surgery from University of Science, Malaysia. He completed his training in laparoscopy with a diploma from Strasbourg. With interest in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery he pursued a fellowship program in Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery in King Chulalongkorn Medical University; Bangkok. He is currently a general and Bariatric surgeon in Hospital Fatimah Ipoh. Apart from minimal access surgery he has keen interest in Laparoscopic simple and complex Hernia Surgeries and clinical nutrition. He is currently the secretary of the Malaysian Hernia Society and Deputy Secretary of the Society of Endoscopic & Laparoscopic Society of Malaysia (SELSMA). He is also the past chairman of Malaysian Medical Association Perak Branch.
