Dato’ Dr Tikfu Gee holds a Masters In Surgery (Malaysia) and is a Fellow In Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery and Bariatric Surgery (France). Dato’ Dr. Tikfu Gee is a renowned pioneer in the field of metabolic and bariatric surgery in Malaysia, recognized for performing the highest number of surgeries for obesity and metabolic disorders in the country. He specializes in a wide range of procedures, including laparoscopic Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass (RYGB), Sleeve Gastrectomy (SG), Greater Curvature Plication (GCP), adjustable gastric band (LAGB), and Single Anastomosis Duodeno-Jejunal Bypass (SADJB). Additionally, Dr. Gee offers non-surgical treatments such as the intra-gastric balloon. His contributions to the field have earned him the Best Clinical Paper Award from the Asia Pacific Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Society in 2018.
